Heated high-velocity valves.
Low temperature conditions create extra demands for the high-velocity valves design. Due to significant temperature difference between cargo vapors (30?C and more) and ambient (down to - 45?C), it is not possible to avoid the condensation inside the high-velocity valves in the moment of opening. This will lead to the paraffin deposition, which creates the risk of valves opening settings changing and thus cargo tanks damaging.
To avoid such of danger, Press-Vac company has designed the high-velocity valves with heating jacket in the valve's body (steam or fluid media heating) and with heating electrical cable (for the relatively mild environment).
